Choose Network: Select from the drop-down menu the Wi-Fi network that you want device to connect to. This must be the
same network that the devices you wish to use with device are connected to. If the network isn't listed in the drop-down menu, select "Refresh Networks". Enter Password: Enter the Wi-Fi network password. Take care to type it accurately. When you have finished typing the password select Enter. Select Show Password to display the password as typed. Advanced Settings In most home network installations Use DHCP should be selected. DHCP means that the network router automatically assigns a unique IP address to each connected device. Advanced settings also allows device to be assigned a fixed IP address. device is only likely to need a fixed IP address in professionally managed network installations. In such installations the person responsible for the network will be able to provide the appropriate information for each of the Advanced Settings parameters. If DHCP is unselected and the advanced settings parameters are incorrectly entered, device may not be able to connect to the network. |
